“I’ve always been drawn to helping others and making people feel included. This desire to tangibly make a difference is what led me to become a social worker in 2009. Through the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of people from all walks of life. Whether it was on one of the humanitarian trips I’ve taken domestically or internationally, serving the elderly population in the community, being with adults as they work through receiving a new medical diagnosis, or sitting with a family at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital while their child dealt with chronic illness—each experience was an honor. Even being in the sacred space of a child passing away was a profound privilege. Through these moments, I realized the powerful role relationships have in helping to shape one’s journey. Ensuring each of these individuals felt seen, heard, and known became my biggest goal.
In 2016 I became a mother, which has become my favorite role to date. As a mom, and friend to women of varying ages and positions in life, I am deeply passionate about providing support to others as they navigate the complexities of balancing career, family, major transitions, and personal goals.
No matter who you are or where you're at in your journey, I believe everyone deserves an environment to heal and grow. My approach to therapy is this: to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can process what you're going through and work toward meaningful change. I’m here to sit alongside you and am committed to help you feel empowered as we work through challenges at your own pace. This work is a calling I don’t take lightly; I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
A bit about me: I have been married since 2005 and have three sons. Being with my family is my favorite pastime. We love being outside, whether on a hike, a neighborhood walk, riding our bikes, or on our porch, reading and enjoying a cozy beverage. We’re also quite passionate about homemade pizza on the weekends! We tend to travel to the ocean, mountains, or a national park. When I’m not homeschooling my boys, hanging with family, or working, I do enjoy a good coffee and conversation with a friend, or reading one of the many books I have going at any given time.”
